Who Are We?
Rob took his first photograph at the age of 9, and was hooked (the world was in Black & White then). In 1976 Rob discovered Tape/Slide AV systems, and set up his first business (Orion Audio-Visual) making shows for local authorities. Video and computers took over, but Rob kept up - transferring skills and developing new ones.
Rob is a keen musician (guitar & keyboard), and has produced music for many well-known names, including the World Wildlife Fund. Rob also wrote the instrumental music for "Who is this Jesus?" which premiered at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall in 1995. Rob is a member of the Royal Photographic Society.
With an honours degree in Education, Ann has spent most of her working life as a schoolteacher, but early retirement from teaching in 2005 gave her the opportunity to get more involved in working with Rob. Ann has had a lifetime interest in photography, and a keen eye for composition, but the acquisition of our first digital SLR camera in 2005, with its immediate feedback, gave her the impetus and opportunity to develop her skills - she's never looked back!
Rob set up VisibleForm in 2000 as a multimedia production company, shooting video and creating business-to-business promotion and presentation materials. In 2006, after six months of planning and training, Rob & Ann launched VisibleForm's Wedding photography services. Offering Event photography services was a natural progression from that. Snapinabox is our latest development.Rob & Ann's faith is an intrinsic part of who they are, and what they do. It underpins the way they do business, and drives their desire to offer great service at sensible prices. Rob & Ann attend Trent Vineyard church in Nottingham.
Rob & Ann live in Nottingham, but can base themselves out of Devon, and are happy to consider assignments anywhere.
